Escapes & Creations is an art and craft store that sells amazing products for all of us art lovers, but it is more than just that. Why I chose to sell these products on Escapes & Creations is the important part and my reason behind it is to help people. The “Creations” part of my store is what sells all the products you need to create art which encourages people to use their imagination and let their unique creativity shine through. The “Escapes” part of my store sells relaxation products which provide healthy ways to escape the rigors of daily life for a while. Using relaxation methods gives you time to recharge and restart with a fresh and clear mindset. We have all heard that expression, “better out than in”, and that goes for emotions and negative energy as well. Escapes & Creations helps people through promotion of creative expression which is actually a form of therapy. With my products I want to promote mental health awareness and the benefits creative expression has for people with and without symptoms of mental health illness. Regardless of how severe or minute a person's symptoms are, creative expression is a proven beneficial method of improving symptoms and individual wellbeing. I also will be donating 10% of yearly profits to various organizations that promote mental health awareness and treatment. When you leave my store, you will leave with great products and know that you are contributing to a worthy and often overlooked cause.
